Biographical Statement
By Bob Hill

My good friend, Tim McMahon, is one of the most brilliant biblicists I have ever met. His B.A. in Spanish is a drop in the bucket compared to his incredible biblical understanding. Although Tim has never attended a seminary or Bible college, his grasp of the biblical languages exceeds mine. His special areas of interest are the study of Tanakh, the Hebrew language and the history and thought of Judaism, but he also enjoys the study of the New Testament and the Greek language. He tends to like biblical theology more than systematic theology, but he is an expert in both. His expertise in Scripture and theology is the result of years of private study and edifying interaction with the body of Christ.

Tim places a great deal of importance on theology and biblical truth, but emphasizes the need for discussion of Scripture to be conducted in a spirit of love and mutual respect. He uses the screen name Obadiah, he would say, because it means "servant of HaShem (God)" and because the book of Obadiah is the smallest of the prophets.

I don't know of anyone more competent to answer questions regarding biblical theology. I'm thrilled to have Tim join me on Biblical Answers.
