Overview
Purpose
The purpose of the Derby School of Theology is to train students in the
word so they are able to function in the ministry. The method of instruction is, to
provoke a vital interest in Gods word by questioning and confronting the student on
the subject matter until he is able to defend his position. This is the primary method of
instruction in all dispensational and systematic theology courses. All advanced students
must be able to answer all the major beliefs, including the cults, on all theological
subjects. This means a great amount of study must be done to become proficient in this
endeavor.
Correspondence
All correspondence for this class will take place on the Derby School of
Theology (DSOT) Online Forum. This will allow professors to interact with
you at any time and gain immediate access to all prior dialogues with other
professors. It will also allow non-students to observe discussions between
students and professors. Follow the steps below to get started:
Accreditation
The Derby School of Theology is not accredited by any
accrediting organization. Because of the costs and controls involved to receive it, we
never intend to apply for accreditation. We believe many of our courses are comprehensive
and rigorous enough to exceed the requirements of a seminary course of study. However, our
degree has been honored for advanced degrees at some seminaries and universities.
Admissions
The Derby School of Theology admits students of any religion or ethnic origin. A high
school diploma is a requirement, but this may be waived in special cases. Tuition
is $30 per class.
You may register at any time by sending a check to Derby School of
Theology. Once you have enrolled, you will be given a password to begin
posting your answers in the Derby School of Theology Forum.
Classes
All
advanced courses in theology are done in the 400 level courses in Greek. All courses are 3
unit classes unless otherwise noted.
